【3D NEXUS SORTER SCADA】
Today, WORKMAN Co., Ltd. continues to achieve strong growth and outstanding business performance as one of Japan’s leading retail chains. Supporting its rapidly expanding supply network behind the scenes is a highly efficient logistics operation.
We are pleased to announce the delivery and commencement of operation of the next-generation automated sorting system, the 3D Nexus Sorter, at the Isesaki Distribution Center (Mother Distribution Center), a key logistics hub supporting WORKMAN’s operations across eastern Japan.
The greatest advantage of this solution is its ability to combine exceptionally high processing capacity with outstanding space efficiency. Within a compact layout requiring an installation length of only approximately 90 meters, the system provides automated sorting capacity for approximately 800 stores, with a total of 783 sorting destinations. Furthermore, the system is designed to handle the full range of outbound logistics operations with a single solution—from TC (Transit / Cross-Docking) operations supporting daily store replenishment to DC (Distribution Center) operations supporting e-commerce fulfillment and inventory replenishment.
By maximizing the utilization of limited building space, the system achieves “ultra-high spatial efficiency,” while its ability to rapidly process large volumes of diverse products delivers “high operational efficiency.” Combining exceptional space utilization with high processing performance, this highly efficient logistics infrastructure will contribute to WORKMAN’s continued business expansion and further optimization of its logistics operations.
